The 12th Annual Don Quijote Awards

The Don Quijote Awards is proudly presented by The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando and The Hispanic Business Initiative Fund of Florida. These prestigious awards began in 1998 and it serves three important strategic objectives: Recognize top Hispanic entrepreneurs, professionals and leaders of our community, be the premier business recognition event for the Hispanic community of Central Florida, and last but not least, serve as a important fundraiser for HBIF and the Hispanic Chamber.

As in prior years, the Chamber and HBIF have invested hundreds of hours in the making this event world class. Come and enjoy the premiere event in the Hispanic Business Community, the 12th Annual Don Quijote Awards on December 5, 2009 at Walt Disney World's Epcot World Showplace. A number of years ago, the event organizers started a tradition to recognize a Hispanic culture during the event. This year, the event theme will honor Cuba. Step back in time to an era when Havana was the getaway mecca. Stroll the streets of Havana and enjoy this bygone era of the 1950's Cuba. Palm trees, cigar crates, and vintage cars, will transport you back in time to the glorious days when Cuba was the ultimate hot spot... the pearl of the Caribbean, and when Latin supper clubs delivered Vegas long before Vegas ever did.
