> Defying all odds against him, on his 25th birthday, Jonathan Simon took the leap to open his own family law practice, as he knew in his heart that family law was his true passion.  In the years that have followed, Jonathan has guided The Orlando Family Firm into a staple of the family law community.  Jonathan has handled over 300 family law matters, ranging from the division of multi-million dollar estates to humble pro bono cases.  As reflected in the firm’s logo, Jonathan’s approach to family law matters is both “compassionate
and aggressive”. While these terms seem to reflect an impossible dichotomy, Jonathan
believes that an effective attorney must be both compassionate with clients and aggressive in obtaining results.  “A proper balance of these interests makes for the most effective representation,” he says.

To say that Jonathan bleeds Orange and Blue would be an understatement.  He received his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Law Degree from the University of Florida.  Such educational achievement would normally take one approximately eight years, but, like all aspects of his life, Jonathan excelled and completed these three programs in just six.  An avid supporter of Gator athletics, you can find Jonathan in the Swamp during football season and even venturing as far as Texas to see his beloved Gators play.  Jonathan’s wife, Jill, is also a proud graduate of the University of Florida. They recently had their first child, Carter, who will most assuredly carry on the Gator tradition.
